Shortly after Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano was suspended for testing positive for a banned substance , Mark Teixeira, who was Cano’s teammate with the New York Yankees, said that he wasn’t surprised . CC Sabathia, a current Yankee and a former teammate of both men, didn’t seem to appreciate Teixeira’s comments.
.@CC_Sabathia on former teammate Mark Texeira saying he's not surprised by Cano suspension
"I don't want to get into what Tex said, but I'll just put it like this: I'm not surprised he said that, coming from him"

Shortly after the suspension, Cano said that what he took was a diuretic. It’s possible, but doesn’t exactly add up, especially to people like Teixeira and Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander.
Regardless of where you might stand on this, we can say one thing for sure.
When Cano, Teixeira, and Sabathia get together for reunions of New York’s 2009 World Series winning team, things will have the potential to be quite awkward.
